Currently, my savings rate is about 40%.

Yes, that means that I save about 40% of my net income. My goal is to reach 50%.

It’s never been this way though. You see, back in 2015 I was over $26,000 in debt with a baby and one on the way. I was horrible with money then. It wasn’t until I was literally broke with no money for groceries that I realized I need to change my money mindset.

Now, I am living a debt-free life and saving more than I ever thought I would save.
